Filippo Manetti has been cultivating and producing organic extra virgin olive oil and wine on the rolling hills of Brisighella since 1998 as Vigne di San Lorenzo.
Montesiepe
BRISIGHELLA – MODIGLIANA
Vigne di San Lorenzo evolves with a new project between the provinces of Forlì and Ravenna, on Colle Montesiepe, in the historic Podere Oliveta including both the sub-areas of Brisighella (RA) and that of Modigliana (FC).
The property stands out on the horizon of the road that runs through the valley of the Lamone river, on marl and alluvial sandstone, in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines where the cultivation of vines originated around the year 1,000 BC among abbeys, monasteries and sanctuaries.

BRISIGHELLA – MODIGLIANA

The olive groves, approximately 10 hectares, with 487 centuries-old olive trees of the Ghiacciolo and Nostrana di Brisighella varieties, are located in a hilly area around 350 m above sea level.

The first D.O.P. for extra virgin olive oil belongs to the Brisighella sub-area since 1995.
